Number 12 completed. This was a fun and colorful painting to work on. It’s called “A Taste Of The Past”. I love eating in these old diners. The classic cars are very cool too!

The Newport Diner, Newport, NH

We used to have one in Newport next to what is now the Salt Hill Pub (The Eagle Block). It’s gone now. It was called the Newport Diner. It’s a Streamliner Diner made in 1930. It was moved here in 1957. In 1990 it was purchased and restored by the Savannah College of Art and Design https://dgwphotography.com/the-streamliner-diner/

    Such a colourful, smile-inducing painting! The yellows and blues in particular are entirely complimentary. An overcast (?and rainy) day, made all the brighter by this diner and its patrons! 🙂
