The autumn leaves in New Hampshire in October are beautiful. The colors are still stunning even though it’s late in October and we are past the peak foliage for this region. We had a fundraiser to attend in Litchfield. The temperature was expected to be in the 70s with no rain predicted, so we chose to ride our motorcycles to the event and go south through Swanzey. We ended up riding a 160-mile loop from Newport to North Swanzey, Litchfield, and back home. It’s a good loop with nice curves and changes in elevation. We enjoyed the wonderful 78 degree weather.
There are many fantastic motorcycle rides in New Hampshire. Although the riding season may be shorter in New England, we have some of the finest motorcycle rides in the country.

I recorded some of the ride from Newport to Keene on Route 10. It’s a nice road with some hills and curves.
During the ride I passed the 4,000 mile mark on my Spyder. I been riding it for about 3 months. I don’t know how much longer we will be able to ride this year, but as long as there isn’t ice or snow we will ride for as long as we can.
