Tom and I recently took a Magical History Tour that was given by the Newport, NH Historical Society. We really enjoyed it and found it very informative. After the tour, Dean, the President of the society, asked us if we would like to get more involved. He was interested in our help. We both are interested in learning more about Newport’s history and gladly agreed to help in any way we can. I am also the Chair of Newport’s Heritage, Monuments & Memorials Commission. I felt that this would be a great opportunity to work together.
The Newport Historical Society recently upgraded their internet access at the museum and also wanted to rebuild their website. This presented a great opportunity to help them out since website development is a hobby that I enjoy. I have also helped other non-profit organizations with their websites. We went live with the launch of the new website yesterday. So far, the response has been very positive. Check out the blog below.
