I found this through a company called Tech-Crafty. It took a while to arrive. Another acrylic on canvas 16″ x 20″.
This image depicts a scenic train excursion through Crawford Notch in New Hampshire during the autumn season. I’d like to take that excursion one of these days.
I found the following info about the station and trains:
- The train is operated by the Conway Scenic Railroad and is pictured at the historic Crawford Depot in Carroll, NH.
- The railroad offers heritage excursions through the White Mountains, famously passing over the Frankenstein Trestle and Willey Brook Bridge.
- The Crawford Depot was originally built in 1891 and serves as a key stop on the line through the notch.
- The locomotives pictured are restored vintage diesel engines, often featuring the CNL (Conway Northern Lines) insignia.
